A medium sized bank located in midtown Manhattan is seeking qualified individuals to handle the credit analysis for large Infrastructure finance transactions in their corporate bank. The main responsibilities of the Credit Analyst are the Credit Application Process for new transactions as well as the Monitoring, Reporting and Compliance Support on the existing credit portfolio. The primary area of expertise is Securitization/Infrastructure. As part of a Deal Team, which also includes the Originator and the respective Marketing/Industry Analyst, the Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for independently conducting the credit due diligence process, reporting to the Head of Credit & Portfolio. This includes analyzing customers, their markets, balance sheets, cash in order to come to a proper assessment of a customer, its business, its markets and the future development and analyzing a transaction to avoid structural, economic, technical, legal, operational and all other potential risks which may affect customers’ ability to repay. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent bank training and industry education, at least 5 years of professional experience within credit analysis, including experience and knowledge of the relevant sector with product-specific knowledge in asset finance, with particular reference to Securitization/Infrastructure.
